Overview
The main aim of this project is to create a user centric video streaming app that combines together content from multiple streaming platforms into one. The app will be a one stop destination for a wide variety of videos, Movies, TV shows , Series and more from various streaming platforms.
Identifying the Problem
In order to identify the main problem statement I conducted intensive secondary research, netnography, and current system analysis as well. The main aim was to get a picture of the wide-scale streaming practices in the country and also the main platforms preferred by the users.

Content Fragmentation :
With an increasing number of streaming platforms hosting exclusive content, users face the inconvenience of juggling multiple subscriptions and navigating different apps to access their favorite videos.
User Convenience :
With having multiple websites and multiple interfaces it becomes difficult to keep track of in progress series and playlists
Content Discovery and Recommendations:
Users often struggle to discover new content aligned with their interests, leading to limited exploration of video libraries and potential content fatigue.
Research
User Scenario and Customer Journey: Worked on formulating a user scenario to establish a user persona as a representation of our target audience and with its specification created a customer journey map to identify user pain points and highlight areas of improvement.
Competitive Analysis: To identify the features pulling in users and the features that differentiate them from other streaming apps I conducted a competitive analysis on the leading streaming apps in the market at present.
Solution
Content Aggregation and Real-Time Updates :
The video content library will be up to date with latest content in each streaming platform.
Single Sign-On and Account Management :
By Removing the hassle of logging in to multiple accounts for different services, this app allows users the convenience of managing and viewing their preferences with a single log in.
Personalization and AI-Powered Recommendations:
The Application will used advanced ML based tech analyze user watch patterns and provide recommendations based off it.
Watchlist and Playlist Management :
Users can create and organize personalized watchlists and playlists, making it convenient to save and revisit favorite videos. This feature ensures users never miss a show or movie they want to watch.
Content Categorization and Filters:
Multiple levels of filtration based on language, region, streaming service and more are involved to make it easier for users to locate their favorite shows and discover more too.
